THE FOLLOWING PROMOTION IS INTENDED FOR VIEWING IN THE STATES OF NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY AND PENNSYLVANIA ONLY (EXCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND All US TERRITORIES) AND SHALL ONLY BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO UNITED STATES LAW AND AMERICAN ENGLISH. 1. HOW IT WORKS: The promotion begins June 20th, 2011 and runs till August 17th, 2011 at 11:59 PM(2359 HRS) Newfoundland Standard Time (the "Promotion Period").
Beginning on June 15th 2011, contestants can enter the promotion by visiting www.golfcoastalcanada.com or www.golfcoastalcanada.ca , clicking on the Contest icon on the landing page, completing the required fields and clicking the submit button. An individual may only enter once per week during the promotion period.
2. WEEKLY PRIZES. There will be two (2) weekly prizes to be won instantly through a random< selection process. Weekly prize will consist of one (1) dozen Titleist golf balls and one (1) ball cap with a logo of one (1) of the Atlantic provinces.
Winners will be personally notified ONLY by e-mail to the e-mail address provided in the registration< process. All prizes must be claimed before the expiry date of August 30th 2011. To be declared a winner for all prizes, the entrant must first confirm age of majority.
Prizes have no cash value and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. No cash substitutes, no exchanges, refunds or returns.
If any of the personal information provided is not completely accurate and truthful, the prize offer award will be deemed void. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries completed. If more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these official rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.
On August 18h at 12:01 AM three (3) grand prize winners will be drawn from all valid entries received throughout the promotion period up to 11:59 PM NST on August 17th, 2011.
The first three names drawn will be the winner of a trip for two (2) to one (1) of the Atlantic provinces as selected by AGO. Each Grand Prize package includes three (3) nights - four (4) rounds golf package
that would include accommodates, breakfast, rounds of golf and power cart for two (2). Winner will have to provide their own flights, ground transportation, meals and other incidentials.
The Prize winner will be notified ONLY by email, to the email address provided the online entry form, with a Grand Prize Personal Email Notification.
Each Grand Prize must be claimed by calling the number identified on the Personal Email Notification, before the expiry date, also provided on the Personal Email Notification (Expiry to be forty-eight (48) hours after notification)). To be declared a winner for each grand prize, the entrant must comfirm age of majority.
If the winner fails to claim the grand prize within the specified period, another name will be drawn.
Each Grand Prize has no cash value and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. No cash substitutes, no exchanges, refunds or returns. Prize Fulfillment Period begins ends on Friday September 20th 2011 at 23:59 P.M. NST. If the prize is not redeemed by that time it will be considered nil and void.
This prize may be transferred to another person, provided Atlantic Golf Organization receives notification of the transfer immediately and that person is a resident of the viewing states.
Approximate cash value: $1,500.00 CDN
AGO reserves the right to change prize dates, make substitutions and details at any time as necessary.
Weekly prizes - will be drawn at random during the contest period from all eligible entries received.
Winners will be personally notified ONLY by e-mail to the e-mail address provided in the registration process with a Personal Email Notification. All prizes must be claimed by calling the number identified on the Personal Email Notification, before the expiry date, also provided on the Personal Notification Email (Expiry to be Fridays at 5:00 PM for each of the instant prizes). To be declared a winner for all prizes, the entrant must first correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question given by GNL.
Weekly prizes have no cash value and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. No cash substitutes, no exchanges, refunds or returns. Weekly prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged. Limit one prize award per person per household per week. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
Approximate cash value: $70.00 CDN.
AGO can substitute prize offers and quantities at any time during the contest period as necessary.
3. ELIGIBILITY. This promotion is open only to legal residents residing in the States of New Jersey,
New York and Pennsylvania only (excluding, without limitation, residents of the State of Florida and
all US territories and possessions) who are the age of majority in their state of residence. Employees,
officers, directors, agents, representatives and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children,
siblings and each of their spouses regardless of where they live) or members of household of Atlantic
Golf Organization, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising, design, web design,
web hosting and promotion and publicity agencies and anyone connected with the production or
distribution of this promotion.
No cash equivalent, transfer or substitution of the prize is permitted, except at AGO's discretion in the
event of unavailability and in such event, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
Prize acceptance constitutes permission to AGO and its agencies and its participating locations to use the recipient's name and/or likeness for advertising or trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Recipients of prizes assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. GNL provides no warranty of any kind for prizes. If any prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited.
By participating in the promotion, you also agree to release and hold AGO, its directors, officers, employees and agents, and all prize suppliers harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the contest, or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, whether suffered by you or a third party.
4. CONTACTING WINNERS: AGO will contact winners only by e-mail within forty-eight hours of the draw (The Winner Contact Period). If a winner is disqualified from eligibility or cannot be contacted by AGO within the Winner Contact Period, or if the winner fails to respond to the expiry date contained on the notifying email, AGO will have the right to award the prize to another entrant. AGO will not be liable in connection with the disqualification of any entrant or failure to contact a winner within the Winner Contact Period. Refusal to accept any prize releases AGO of any obligation towards the winner.
5. CONTEST RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS: AGO reserves the right to modify scheduling of the promotion without prior notice. Promotion rules are subject to change without notice, if necessary, to comply with any applicable law or policy of AGO, or any other entity having jurisdiction over AGO and this promotion.
AGO is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of prizes. AGO is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, AGO reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. In the event of termination, all remaining prizes will be awarded in a random method to be determined by AGO.
Caution: Any attempt by a entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law.
By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges whose decisions are final.
AGO reserves the right to change promotion prize details at any time as necessary during the
promotional period.
6. PROMOTION VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, LICENSED, RESTRUICTED OR TAXED.
All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. If any provision of the promotion shall be deemed to violate any federal, state or local law, regulation or ordinance, it shall be amended to conform to such law and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. If Sponsor is required by applicable federal, state or local law, regulation or ordinance, or by action of an administrative agency to cease offering the promotion in any jurisdiction, Sponsor reserves the right to (i) terminate the promotion in such jurisdiction in its entirety, and/or (ii) cancel and remove from participation in the promotion any and/or all entries from entrants residing in such jurisdiction, without penalty and without obligation to any promotion entrants. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. All taxes are winners’ responsibility and the winner is responsible to comnplete an forms and report winnings to the an IRS.
7. PRIVACY POLICY, All entries submitted become the property of AGO and none will be acknowledged or returned. AGO and Administrator collect personal information from you when you enter the promotion.
