New Brunswick
Fairmont Algonquin
Your first NB golf experience will be at Fairmont Algonquin, one of the oldest courses in Canada, first erected in 1894. This course was ranked by Score Magazine (2006) in the Top 100 Courses in Canada, Best in New Brunswick. Created by Thomas McBroom, this seaside masterpiece features a dynamic sequence of forested woodland front nine complemented by a picturesque seaside back nine. The 18 hole par 72 course ranges from 5,207 to 6,908 yards and will challenge golfers of all levels. Algonquin offers a manicured look that serves as a perfect contrast to the fescue rough and the rugged shoreline of the Bay of Fundy.
Kingswood Golf Course
Your second golfing journey will take place at Kingswood Golf Course—fun for golfers of all levels, but a robust challenge for the most skilled. Designed by Canadian architects Graham Cooke and Darrell Huxham, Kingswood measures more than 7,000 yards from the tips, with seven water hazards in play through the first six holes alone—most of them tag-teaming with sprawling embankments of bunkers to snag wayward approaches. Kingswood's most dramatic moments come on the homeward nine, notably the rock face and 30-foot waterfall bordering the left side of the 14th fairway.
Prince Edward Island
Green Gables
First up is Green Gables, a scenic, ocean-side course with rolling greens guarded by deep bunkers, six water holes, an ever changing breeze and the dunes of PEI's famous north shore serving as a backdrop. The course was originally designed and built in 1939 by one of the world's most renowned architects, the late Stanley Thompson. Now, nearly seventy years later, another legend has renewed the spirit of Green Gables. Thomas McBroom, whose designs have achieved innumerable awards and accolades, has blended his own unique perspective with Thompson's original concept to ensure Green Gables meets the highest standards of golfing expectations. "Two Master Minds, One Master Piece."
Crowbush
Your next round takes places at Crowbush, a course that leads the Atlantic region with 4 Golfers Choice Awards, including Best Course, Best Golf Resort, Best Scenery and Best Condition. Overlooking the north shore dunes of PEI, Crowbush continues to enthrall everyone who embraces the challenge of conquering one of North America's very best. Undulating fairways, water holes with a wisp of wind, pot bunkers and challenging greens all come together to provide you with an experience not to be forgotten. Truly an unbelievable combination of nature and creativity.
Of all the courses that are considered a "must play", Crowbush is certainly one of them. If you can manage to tame the 6,903 yards at the Links, you’re in a privileged group for sure!
